Who are Sprout & Luma Learning Kits for?
Our learning kits are intentionally created for little learners ages 1 to 6 and the grown-ups who love learning alongside them. There are two learning kits you can select from depending on your child's age. One is for ages 1 to 3 and the other is for ages 3 to 6. While each kit is designed with this age range in mind, activities can easily be enjoyed by siblings together, since the themes for each learning kit are the same. Most importantly, Sprout & Luma isn’t about handing your child an activity to do alone. Our kits are designed to create opportunities for you and your Little Sprout to explore, play, learn and connect together.
What is included in my learning kit?
Every Sprout & Luma Learning Kit is a little different. Each kit includes about 20 hands on learning activities designed to encourage early literacy, number sense, fine-motor development, creativity, exploration and more. We do our best to include the materials you need so you can spend less time gathering supplies and more time enjoying the activities together. Occasionally, an activity may call for a simple household item you most likely already have and we recommend a few different options.
What if I don't know if I'm doing the activities correctly?
We’ve got you! Your learning kit includes a Grown-Up Guide for each activity that gives simply, easy to follow directions so you’ll know just what to do without having to plan or prep it yourself. Sometimes it’s easier to see it in action so you can check out our Little Sprouts Studio for simple videos showing you how to set up and enjoy the activities with your little sprout. Most importantly, there’s no need to do everything perfectly. Follow your little sprout’s curiosity and attention span. The activities are meant to be enjoyed together.
Can I reuse the activities?
Yes! Young children learn through repetition, and many Sprout & Luma activities are created to be enjoyed again and again. As your little sprout becomes more familiar with an activity, you may notice them becoming more independent or understanding concepts they didn’t quite grasp the first time.
Do I need teaching experience to use the learning kits?
Not at all! You don’t need to be a teacher or an early-childhood expert to use our learning kits. We created Sprout & Luma with parents in mind. We wanted to make meaningful learning approachable for everyday families while also explaining some of the learning behind the activities. You’ll not only know what to do, but also gain a better understanding of what your little sprout is learning and why it matters. We provide the activities, materials, and guidance while you bring the encouragement, conversation and connection.
What if I'm not ready for the next learning kit?
We know life gets busy with little ones. Maybe your little sprout has a few favorite activities they want to enjoy again or you haven’t made it through the whole learning kit just yet. You can skip, pause or cancel your subscription through your Sprout & Luma customer account.
Should I skip, pause, or cancel?
Skip a Kit
Need a little more time? Skip your next billing cycle and you won’t be charged or receive a kit. Your learning journey picks up right where you left off the following billing cycle.
Pause Your Subscription
Taking a longer break? Pause your subscription and you won’t be charged or receive additional kits. When you’re ready to continue, simply log into your account and resume your subscription.
Cancel Your Subscription
Ready to end your Sprout & Luma journey? Cancel anytime to stop future charges and deliveries. If you subscribe again later, you’ll begin a new learning journey starting with Kit 1.
